How Alex’s Glass Company grew from 2,060 to 19,549 monthly Google impressions.
A transparent local SEO case study covering January 1 through September 7, 2026—including what improved, what generated visibility, and what still needs work.

Alex’s Glass Company
- Industry: Glass repair and replacement
- Reporting period: January 1–September 7, 2026
- Website: alexsglassco.com
Alex’s Glass Company serves homeowners, businesses, property managers, and contractors across Dallas–Fort Worth. Customers often search with immediate intent: a pane is cracked, an insulated glass unit has failed, a storefront needs attention, or a project needs custom shower or mirror glass.
The campaign focused on making the company relevant for those services, problems, and cities while building clearer paths from informational content to service pages and quote requests.

Building visibility around real customer decisions.
Strong local SEO connects services, locations, customer questions, technical clarity, and measurement instead of chasing isolated keyword wins.
The company needed to compete across a large metro area for valuable searches involving glass replacement, foggy windows, emergency repairs, custom glass, mirrors, and shower installations.
The site also needed enough local depth to be useful in multiple DFW cities without turning every keyword variation into a shallow or repetitive page.
We organized the work around customer intent: the service needed, the problem being solved, the city being served, and the information a customer needs before requesting a quote.
The campaign combined city and service coverage, intent-led articles, internal linking, on-page improvements, technical cleanup, and measurement through Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
The work behind the visibility growth.
Local service coverage
Strengthened the relationship between Alex’s core services and the DFW cities the company actually serves, with clear quote paths and locally relevant information.
Intent-led content
Published useful answers about foggy insulated glass, replacement timing, emergency damage, Texas heat, glass costs, safety, and other questions customers ask before calling.
On-page and technical clarity
Improved page structure, metadata, internal linking, service relationships, crawlability, and structured information so important pages were easier to understand and discover.
Honest performance measurement
Used Search Console for organic impressions, clicks, queries, and positions while treating paid-search and all-channel Analytics activity separately.
What changed in search
The site expanded beyond branded searches and began earning visibility for commercial service and location queries across DFW.
- January recorded 2,060 impressions, 20 clicks, and an impression-weighted average position of 41.9.
- June recorded 19,549 impressions, 143 clicks, and an impression-weighted average position of 16.7.
- Total performance for January 1–September 7 reached 85,341 impressions and 532 organic clicks.
- The first 28 days generated 1,881 impressions; the last 28 days generated 5,703—an increase of 203%.
- Among the 1,001 query rows visible in the export, 195 non-brand queries averaged positions 1–10 and another 244 averaged positions 11–20.
Performance did not rise in a straight line. June was the strongest month, followed by softer results in July and August. That makes consolidation, archive cleanup, stronger snippets, and improvement of page-two rankings the priority for the next phase.
City pages became a measurable growth asset

Why we separate SEO results from paid traffic
The supplied Google Analytics snapshot shows approximately 22,000 active users, 110,000 events, and 371 key events across all channels during the measured year-to-date period. Google paid search supplied most of that traffic.
For that reason, we do not present 22,000 users or 371 key events as organic SEO results. The verified SEO results in this case study are the Search Console impressions, clicks, queries, pages, and positions reported above.

Measurement and methodology
Measurement period: January 1–September 7, 2026. Organic figures come from the supplied Google Search Console Web Search export. Monthly average position is impression-weighted from the daily export.
Search Console suppresses some low-volume query data, so totals from the visible query table do not equal the property-level totals. Google Analytics figures are included only as all-channel context and are not claimed as organic conversions.
Alex’s Glass Company built meaningful non-brand visibility across high-intent services and DFW locations. The site moved from limited discovery to competing for glass replacement, foggy window, repair, emergency, and city-specific searches.
The project also revealed the next constraint: earning more clicks and inquiries from rankings already on page one or page two, while consolidating overlapping content and removing thin archive pages from the index.
The result is not a finished campaign or a guaranteed formula. It is evidence that a useful local structure, service-focused content, technical clarity, and disciplined measurement can create substantial search growth over time.
